Why This Matters
While QRDoc cannot control what URLs are encoded into QR codes, we take the responsible use of our tool seriously. If you believe QRDoc is being used to generate QR codes linking to harmful, illegal, or abusive content, please report it.
What Counts as Abuse?
- QR codes linking to malware, ransomware, or phishing pages
- QR codes linking to CSAM or other illegal content
- QR codes used in fraudulent or deceptive schemes
- QR codes linking to content that incites violence or hatred
- Any use that violates our Acceptable Use Policy
How to Report
Please contact us with as much detail as possible, including the QR code or URL involved, where you encountered it, and why you believe it constitutes abuse. We will investigate and take appropriate action, which may include notifying relevant authorities.
What We Can and Cannot Do
As a static client-side tool, QRDoc does not log or store generated QR codes or URLs. We cannot revoke a QR code once downloaded. However, we can update our tool to block known patterns of abuse and cooperate with law-enforcement where required.
