Privacy Policy
Effective date: 25 June 2026
Overview
QRDoc is designed from the ground up to process all data locally in your browser. We do not operate a backend server, we do not collect personal information, and we do not set cookies.
Data We Do Not Collect
- Document URLs you paste into QRDoc
- Generated QR codes or downloaded images
- IP addresses, device identifiers, or browser fingerprints
- Usage analytics or behavioural tracking
Data Processed Locally
Your document link is held in JavaScript memory within your browser tab for the duration of your session only. It is cleared when you reset the tool, close the tab, or navigate away. The beforeunload event explicitly clears sensitive fields from application state.
Third-Party Libraries
QRDoc loads the QRCode.js library from Cloudflare's CDN (cdnjs.cloudflare.com) using Subresource Integrity (SRI) verification. This request is subject to Cloudflare's own privacy policy. No other external scripts are loaded.
Hosting
QRDoc is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub may collect server access logs (IP address, user agent, referrer) as part of normal hosting operations. Please refer to GitHub's Privacy Statement.
Your Rights
Because we hold no personal data, there is nothing to access, correct, or delete on our side. If you have questions, contact us.
Changes
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the tool or applicable law. The effective date above will be updated accordingly.
