Getting Started

QRDoc works in three steps: (1) select your cloud platform, (2) paste your document share link, (3) validate and download your QR code. No sign-up required.

Step 1 – Select a Platform

Choose Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive. Follow the on-screen instructions to obtain a shareable link from your chosen platform and ensure public-access is enabled for anyone with the link.

Step 2 – Paste Your Link

Copy the sharing URL from your cloud platform and paste it into the link field. QRDoc validates the URL format against the expected pattern for your chosen platform before proceeding.

Step 3 – Validate & Download

Click Validate & Generate QR. If the link is valid, a QR code is generated instantly in your browser. Choose PNG or JPG format and click Download QR Code.

Troubleshooting

• "This doesn't look like a valid link" — Make sure you copied the full sharing URL, including the protocol (https://).
• QR code not scanning — Ensure the QR image is printed or displayed at a sufficient size (minimum ~2 cm × 2 cm) with good contrast.
• Link opens wrong document — Verify your cloud sharing settings; the share link may have changed after the QR was generated.
• Rate limit warning — Wait 60 seconds and try again. The limit is 3 generations per minute, enforced locally.
