🔗 No Content Verification

QRDoc converts URLs into QR codes locally in your browser. It does not verify, validate, monitor, or take any responsibility for the content or ownership of the resources linked by the URLs you submit.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that:

  • The QR codes you generate link to legitimate, authorised content.
  • You have the right to share the document or resource being linked.
  • The destination content complies with applicable laws and regulations.
  • The intended recipients are permitted to access the linked resource.

☁️ Cloud Sharing Configuration

QRDoc generates QR codes based on the sharing link you provide. The tool cannot verify whether your cloud document sharing settings (on Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive) are correctly configured at the time of distribution.

Before distributing any QR code generated by QRDoc, you must independently verify that:

  • Your document sharing permissions are set correctly (e.g. "Anyone with the link").
  • The sharing link has not expired or been revoked.
  • Access restrictions on the cloud platform match your intended audience.
QRDoc cannot be held responsible for QR codes that fail to work due to expired links, changed permissions, or misconfigured cloud storage settings.

🛠️ Tool Availability & Accuracy

QRDoc is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

The author makes no guarantee that:

  • The tool will be available continuously or without interruption.
  • QR codes generated will be scannable on all devices or in all environments.
  • URL conversion logic (e.g. Google Drive direct-download conversion) will remain accurate as third-party platforms update their systems.
  • The tool is free from bugs or errors.

⚖️ Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Ashwinkumar D Basari and QRDoc shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

  • Use or inability to use the QRDoc tool.
  • Errors or inaccuracies in generated QR codes.
  • Unauthorised access to documents shared via QR codes generated by this tool.
  • Any loss of data, revenue, or business resulting from use of this tool.
